Philips recalled millions of CPAP and other sleep apnea machines because they found out that the many of the machines were omitting a toxic foam caused by a serious issue with the machines. The FDA also issued an alert on June 30, 2021, to people using the Philips Respironics ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP machines, as well as health care providers of the recall due to potential health risks.
